Internal Team Manager

Job Description

Our ideal team manager will foster a cohesive, creative, and comfortable working environment. Team Managers lead our teaching team to strive to meet daily goals and to ensure daily operations run smoothly and according to schedule. Team Managers coach and direct teaching staff according to NY Kids Club standards to ensure the highest quality instruction and classroom management.

Essential Functions

  • Train all teachers to perform high-level of public speaking and parent communication in all classes and programs
  • Provide immediate feedback, coaching and training to teaching team as needed
  • Ensure team member integration for all new hires placed in your location
  • Lead Morning Huddles, participate in Weekly Morning Meeting
  • Meet with Location Manager, on a weekly basis
  • Review schedule for upcoming semesters and plan effective class transitions
  • Maintain efficiency and quality control of the team and location
    • Ensure accurate inventory and order requests are submitted
    • Ensure classes start and end on time, and are taught at high quality
    • Uphold all handbook policies
  • Submit End of Week report through the Friday EOD
  • Meet weekly with SETM to maintain a high quality of programming during the weekends
  • Assess the needs of the team and individuals and follow through with feedback and written warning as needed
  • Participate in ongoing management training
  • Conduct instructor reviews and evaluations
    • New hire check-ins (LM participates)
    • Semester check-ins
    • One annual review on anniversary (LM participates)
